Mission
Roots and Harvest Community aims to create a secure local food system throughout Southwest Missouri counties by creating meaningful connections between local producers, consumers and retail food businesses through development of innovative sales and distribution solutions, education, fostering collaboration, and promoting sustainability. We aim to empower small-scale farmers to increase food production, increase local food access to the rural populations, reduce food waste, while building stronger, healthier communities.
Vision
Roots and Harvest Community aims to create a sustainable, equitable, vibrant and
diverse regional food system in Southwest Missouri by connecting farmers, food
producers, and communities, thereby ensuring access to fresh, healthy, and responsibly
sourced food for all.
